Václav Janeček (University of Oxford, St Edmund Hall) is a research student in the Oxford Law Faculty. Václav is interested in questions relating to access to legal information, use of computer algorithms in law, personal responsibility and liability, legal remedies and their co-ordination, the intersection of public and private law, digital privacy and security. His recent work includes an article ‘Ownership of personal data in the Internet of Things’ (2018) CLSRev, and a monograph on foundations of legal responsibility in comparative perspective: ‘Critique of Legal Responsibility’ (Wolters Kluwer 2018). For several years, Václav has taught in a course on expert legal systems and access to legal information at Charles University in Prague. Before starting his second doctoral degree in Oxford, Václav worked as a post-doc at the Oxford Internet Institute. More details at: http://www.vaclav-janecek.cz
